At Lightning Maid, we carefully vet, background check, and train every cleaner on our team. You’re getting only the best — professional, trustworthy, and detail-oriented — all fully bonded and insured for your peace of mind.

What if something is damaged during a clean?

We treat your home like it’s our own. If something is ever damaged, we’ll work to repair or replace it. All Lightning Maid cleaners are fully insured, so you can rest easy knowing you’re covered.

Do I need to be home for my cleaning?

Not at all. Many of our clients provide a spare key, door code, or garage code so we can let ourselves in and lock up when we’re done.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

Nope! We bring everything needed to give your home that Lightning Maid shine. If you prefer specific products, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I give special instructions?

Absolutely! Your preferences help us deliver the perfect clean. Just share them with our office so we can note them in your file — that way, every cleaner who visits knows exactly what you like.

What if I’m not satisfied with my cleaning?

Your happiness comes first. If anything isn’t up to your standards, contact us within 24 hours and we’ll re-clean the area at no extra charge.

Do your cleaners accept tips?

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated! You can tip after each clean or give a larger tip during the holidays — totally up to you.

What if my clean falls on a holiday?

If your scheduled cleaning lands on a holiday, we’ll reach out ahead of time to reschedule.

What happens if someone’s injured in my home?

We’re fully licensed and insured. If a team member is ever injured on your property, our insurance covers it, so you can enjoy a completely worry-free clean.

What should I do before Lightning Maid arrives?

No need to clean before we clean — that’s why we’re here! We just ask that you pick up toys, clothes, or clutter so our team can focus on making every surface sparkle. If you have pets, make sure they’re comfortable so we don’t disrupt their routine.

What if something is missed?

We’re proud of our 360° Clean Checklist™, but if you ever notice something was missed, let us know within 24 hours. We’ll come back and make it right — that’s our Lightning Maid Guarantee.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens — we get it! Just give us at least 2 business days’ notice and we’ll happily adjust your schedule. Less notice or a lock-out may result in a full-service charge.

How often can you clean my home?

We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and one-time cleans for special events, move-ins/outs, or whenever you need a reset. There are no contracts — change your schedule anytime to fit your needs.

Do you always send the same team?

We do our best to send the same cleaner(s) for consistency. If someone is unavailable, another trained Lightning Maid professional will step in to deliver the same quality clean.

Can pets be home during cleaning?

Yes! We love pets. For everyone’s safety, aggressive pets should be secured in another area while we work.
